Program Qualifications

1.     Have advanced knowledge of conceptual knowledge in the fields of political science, public administration, urban and environmental sciences, and the ability to apply it.

2.     Have mastery of basic concepts and inter-conceptual relationships related to politics, administration, urban and environmental sciences, law, economics, finance, business and other social sciences.

3.     Have the necessary methodology and application skills to conduct research and plan, access original sources of information, collect data and process them in the fields of political science and public administration.

4.     Transfer and report the knowledge and skills acquired in the fields of political science and public administration in written and oral form.

5.     Evaluate and apply learning outcomes in business life.

6.     Can analyze and evaluate concrete facts and practices in the fields of political science and public administration with reference to the theoretical knowledge they possess.

7.     Can produce comments and analyze by establishing interdisciplinary relationships between the fields of political science and public administration and other social sciences.

8.     Take responsibility to solve problems or deficiencies in the application of political science and public administration and take part in teamwork.

9.     Evaluate the information obtained in the field of political science and public administration in a cause-effect relationship and critically, reflect the results obtained in his/her professional life, has a perspective suitable for lifelong learning.

10.  Transform the information and applications in the field of political science and public administration into projects and activities within the framework of a social responsibility approach, uses their expert knowledge with a sense of social responsibility, have ethical values ​​and are open to innovations.

11.  Have written and verbal communication proficiency in Turkish; knows English to the extent required by his/her profession and uses information technologies.

12.  Are sensitive about universal human rights, social justice, environment, gender and labor relations.
